Samsung The Wall All-in-One IWA: cabinet grid & viewing distance
Problem. A 3.6 x 2.03 m (16:9) wall is a common starting point for a boardroom or lobby display, but the right cabinet grid and closest-seat distance depend on the specific product's pixel pitch and packaging. This preset works through that sizing for the Samsung The Wall All-in-One IWA, an all-in-one, front-service cabinet at 1.68 mm pixel pitch.
Answer. At the 3.6 x 2.03 m target, the calculator resolves to a 2 x 2 cabinet grid, giving an actual wall of 6.45 x 3.63 m at native 3840 x 2160 resolution (approximately 8.3 megapixels). The closest seat is set to 4 m, inside the pitch-derived optimal viewing band.
02 / In depth
How this preset reads — the engineering view.
Pixel pitch is the number that decides both the grid and the seating plan. At 1.68 mm, the optimal viewing band for video content works out to roughly 1.7-3.4 m (pitch x 1.0 to 2.0) from the wall, and the same pitch is what fixes each cabinet's native pixel count, which in turn sets how many cabinets are needed to fill 3.6 x 2.03 m.
500 nits is a controlled-indoor brightness figure, not a daylight or storefront rating, so this preset assumes managed ambient light such as a boardroom, lobby, or briefing centre rather than a sunlit atrium. Paired with front-service access and all-in-one packaging (integrated receiving card and power within the cabinet), it suits fitted installations where rear access is limited and native 3840 x 2160 (about 8.3 MP) is enough to carry sharp text, video, and UI content at the sizes this preset targets.
Drag the wall-size sliders to see the cabinet grid and total resolution recompute in real time. Cabinets are whole units, so they snap to the nearest fit; the actual wall dimensions shown (here 6.45 x 3.63 m) may differ slightly from the target size you dragged to.
The calculator sizes the cabinet grid and viewing distance only. It does not determine structural or rigging load, power and data cable runs, the video processor or scaler needed to drive the wall, how source content maps to the panel's native resolution, or ambient-light calibration for the room.
What this preset deliberately does not solve
- Viewing-distance band is a general pitch-based guide for video content, not a substitute for a room-specific sightline study.
- 500 nits assumes a controlled indoor environment; brighter ambient light will reduce perceived contrast regardless of cabinet grid.
- Cabinet-grid snapping means the built wall size is fixed by whole cabinets and will rarely match a dragged target exactly.
How this preset differs from its siblings
This cabinet's 1.68 mm pitch sits between coarser and finer all-in-one options, so both its viewing-distance band and achievable resolution at a given wall size differ from wider- or tighter-pitch products in the same all-in-one, front-service category. Its 500-nit rating also marks it out for controlled indoor settings rather than higher-brightness semi-outdoor use, which is why it is modelled here as its own preset rather than folded into a generic all-in-one entry.

Feasibility
500 nit brightness suits dim/controlled-ambient broadcast studios. For lit rooms a 1200+ nit panel is more forgiving.
Cabinet grid resolves to 6.45 m × 3.63 m (target was 3.60 m × 2.03 m).

Samsung The Wall IWA (P1.68) — cabinet grid & viewing distance
A controlled indoor space wants a 4 x 2.25 m video wall built from Samsung The Wall IWA (P1.68) fine-pitch cabinets, and needs to know how the cabinet grid, native resolution and closest comfortable seat resolve before the wall is specified. The decision hinges on how tightly a 1.68 mm pitch can be viewed and how many cabinets the target wall actually needs.

LG MAGNIT LSAB (P0.9) cabinet grid & viewing distance
A 4 x 2.25 m video wall in a controlled indoor space needs a cabinet grid that lands close to the target dimensions without odd part-cabinet edges. At 0.9375 mm pixel pitch, the sizing decision also has to keep the closest seat far enough back that individual pixels disappear into a clean image.

Leyard DirectLight X (P1.2) — cabinet grid & viewing distance
A fine-pitch indoor LED wall needs a cabinet grid and viewing envelope that match the room, not just a target width and height. At a 4 × 2.25 m (16:9) wall, the decision is how the DirectLight X's 1.27 mm pitch maps to cabinet count, native resolution and the distance at which the closest seat can sit.

Leyard CarbonLight CLF-2.5 cabinet grid & viewing distance
A 5 x 2.8 m indoor wall needs a cabinet layout that lands close to the target size without odd part-cabinet edges, and a closest-seat distance that keeps the pixel structure invisible rather than a visible grid. Getting both right up front avoids a re-order once the cabinet count and viewing zone are fixed on site.

Absen N1.5 Pro cabinet grid & viewing distance
A fine-pitch indoor wall built from Absen N1.5 Pro cabinets needs its cabinet grid and native resolution confirmed before layout is locked, and its closest comfortable seat needs checking against the cabinet's 1.56 mm pitch. A 4 x 2.25 m (16:9) target is the common starting footprint for this class of wall.
LED Wall · Outdoor
Absen A27 Plus — cabinet grid & viewing distance
An outdoor screen at 6 x 3.375 m (16:9) needs a cabinet grid that lands close to the target size without odd fractional cabinets at the edges, and a viewing distance where the pitch reads clean rather than pixelated. For direct-sun outdoor use the brightness budget also has to be settled alongside the size decision, not after it.

Unilumin UMiniIII 1.2 — cabinet grid & viewing distance
A 4 × 2.25 m indoor video wall needs a fine-pitch cabinet that stays crisp for viewers who won't stand back far — corporate lobbies, control rooms and boardrooms typically watch from inside 3 m. The sizing question is which cabinet grid actually fits the target wall and what native resolution that grid delivers before any content or mounting decision is made.

Unilumin Upad IV 2.6 preset: cabinet grid & viewing distance
A 6 x 3.375 m (16:9) outdoor wall built from the Unilumin Upad IV 2.6 has to resolve to a whole number of cabinets, which shifts the actual finished size away from the target dimensions. The real sizing decision is working out that cabinet grid and its native resolution before committing to a footprint, and confirming the closest seat sits inside the pitch's optimal viewing band rather than too close for the content to resolve cleanly.
