Founded in Guwahati.
Engineered for the
long brief.
Sixteen years. Three smart-home generations. A continuing practice across the eastern arc of South Asia — and selected projects beyond it, in India and nearby international markets, taken on case by case from the Guwahati base.

02 / What it is
A practice,
not a stockist.
TechnoGuru is a premium systems-integration practice founded in Guwahati in 2010. We deliver seven coordinated disciplines — Smart Automation, ELV Systems, AV Solutions, IT & Networking, Building Management, AMC & Lifecycle Support and Turnkey Project Delivery — under one accountable contract, across residential, hospitality, healthcare, government, education, retail, industrial, worship and corporate sectors.
Our reference work spans institutional, hospitality, residential, healthcare, commercial and government environments across the eastern arc — Guwahati, Nagaland, Tripura, Meghalaya, West Bengal — with suitable projects in other Indian cities and selected nearby and international markets evaluated case by case, planned and supported from Guwahati. The practice is built around documentation discipline, in-house programming on Rako, Fibaro and KNX backbones, and an AMC structure scoped on preventive calendar, written response targets, deployment-specific spares and offline configuration baselines.
03 / Method
The way we work.
Most integrators are a sales motion in front of a warehouse. We are a design and engineering practice that procures the hardware the design called for — never the inverse.
Architecture-first design
We open every brief with the architectural drawings, not the catalogue. Cabling pathways, panel locations, riser routing and acoustic envelopes are decided alongside the building, not retrofit into it.
In-house programming
Automation controllers, BMS frameworks and AV control systems are programmed in our Guwahati office. Six months later, when you ask for a change, we open a project file rather than commission a forensic exercise.
Documented commissioning
Every system is handed over with a calibration report, a labelled patch schedule and an operations manual written for the people who will use it — not for the auditor that signed off the contract.
Single accountable hand
One project manager, one schedule, one subcontract structure. When automation, AV, security, BMS and IT cross paths, the seams between them are our problem rather than yours.
AMC as a programme, not an invoice
Spares for active deployments held in our Lachit Nagar office. Firmware and config baselines stored offline. Response targets in writing. Quarterly health-check reports.
Original engineering
Specifications written for the project rather than copied from a vendor's reference design. Every quote itemised against the building's actual reality, not against a brochure default.
04 / Engineering depth
Six engineering layers.
One accountable execution partner.
From power conditioning and network infrastructure to control logic, integration, and user experience, TechnoGuru designs systems as connected operational ecosystems — not isolated vendor packages.
Every layer is engineered, coordinated, and documented under one execution workflow.

05 / Founder
Pranab Kumar Beriya.
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Founder of TechnoGuru; sixteen years of practice in residential cinema, automation and turnkey systems integration across eastern India and the wider sub-continent. Holds the AVIXA AV Technologist Certificate, K-Array Designer, CEDIA Member, HAA Level 1 Calibrator, Rako-DALI trained, AMX-certified, Harman BSS programming-certified, Alcatel-Lucent OXO Connect-certified.
Pranab founded the practice in Guwahati in 2010 and has led every reference brief it has handed over since — residential cinemas, hospital ELV stacks, government command-and-control rooms, hospitality fit-outs and turnkey civic auditoria. CEDIA, AVIXA, HAA and K-Array continuing-education hours underwrite the calibration and design standards; the project file, rather than the brochure, remains the document of record.

Editorial groups behind
the work.
Beyond the named team, the studio organises its editorial output into eight engineering practices — AV systems, smart automation, lifecycle and operations, commissioning, operational continuity, fire and life-safety, network and IT infrastructure, and turnkey infrastructure engineering. Each practice is a real internal grouping of work the studio already delivers; together they prepare and review the published insights, engineering topics and project case studies that this site carries.

Practices are organisational identities — they carry no invented members, no invented credentials. Engineering domains, environments and standards relevance are operational and tied to the studio's delivered work.

The first reply will come from a project lead, not a sales gateway. Expect it within two working days.
