The Aura 2 uses a ust (ultra-short-throw) lens with a 0.177-0.177:1 throw ratio, meaning almost no distance separates the projector from the screen it fills. At 100 inches that works out to 0.39-0.39 m, so the unit sits on furniture directly under the image rather than being positioned across the room as a conventional long-throw projector would be.
With 2300 lumens, a native 3840x2160 (4K) panel, and an led-laser-hybrid light source, the Aura 2 is built for a controllable-light living space rather than a fully daylit room; laser-hybrid sources also tend to hold brightness and colour more consistently over long viewing hours than lamp-based units. This combination suits a media wall or lounge where the screen size and seating are fixed and the household wants a large image without a ceiling or rear-wall mount.
